A popular Nigerian Rapper has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police for allegedly abducting a Police Officer
Panshak Henry Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince Zamani, is cooling off in the police net following his alleged abduction of a police officer.
Speaking on this, the spokesperson for the Lagos state Police Force, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a tweet on Friday morning broke the news, giving in details the process that led to the arrest of the singer.
Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the Ice Prince was apprehended by the police for allegedly assaulting a police officer who stopped him for driving without license plates.
He went further to allege that the rapper threatened to throw the officer into a river at the point of arrest.
The PPRO posted a photo of the rapper in handcuffs and said he would be prosecuted.

“At 3 am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. After that, he abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and will be arraigned today”.
When contacted on phone on Friday morning, Mr Hundeyin confirmed the arrest of the singer to SNN Africa.
In the telephone interview, he narrated that the singer was arrested in Victoria Island, Lagos, even though the incident occurred in Lekki Phase 1.
He concluded the interview by saying that Ice Prince would be arraigned at the Magistrate court in Ajah on Friday morning.’’
